Why Astrology for Dating?

The relationship system “SIX DEGREE ENERGY” ® (S.D.E) is based on the Yin/Yang interaction of the Chinese Zodiac Triangles of Affinity. This system uses six types of relationships which enable you to apprehend in a concrete way the links between the Chinese signs. The Chinese & the Solar signs of your birth chart are taken into account in the process of compatibility search.

The Six Elements of the Double Zodiac
Air - Fire - Earth - Metal - Water - Wood

Each relationship of the SIX DEGREE ENERGY system corresponds to one of these Double Zodiac Elements. Check below the "Attraction Process & Triangles' Interaction" section.

The Five Elements of the Chinese Zodiac

To allow for movement to occur and bring about change, Chinese philosophy calls upon the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, on the basic Yin-Yang energies. Each of these five Chinese elements has the ability to control and/or destroy the previous element, and is capable of producing the element that directly follows it.
Generating Cycle
  • Wood feeds Fire
  • Fire creates Earth
  • Earth bares Metal
  • Metal collects Water
  • Water nourishes Wood
Overcoming Cycle
  • Wood parts Earth
  • Earth absorbs Water
  • Water quenches Fire
  • Fire melts Metal
  • Metal chops Wood

The Holy Grail & the Soulmate Quest !?

Wood's two opposite yet equally emotional forces are rage and altruism. The Wood person will be expansive, outgoing and socially conscious.

Fire-ruled persons must constantly seek to balance a tendency to explode and possibly destroy, against a desire to create coziness and warmth. Passionate by nature, this impatient, ebullient person must strive to keep his flame under control.

Earth's two opposite but equal forces which need to be kept in constant balance are enhancing and smothering. Earth people are gifted for fairness and have the ability to commit themselves to complete Herculean tasks. They must struggle against a penchant for worry.

Metal people like to communicate. They need to keep discord and harmony in constant balance. Metal signifies the onset of winter. Metal people must guard against a tendency to wallow in nostalgia.

Water-ruled years are frequently musical. Water-ruled persons are always very sensitive and sometimes even mentally fragile. The downside of Water's influence, then, is a stressful nervousness.

The Four Elements of the Western Zodiac

Each sign is associated with one of the classical elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) and one of the three modalities (cardinal, fixed, mutable). It is also associated with an area of concern: personal, social, or universal.

Fire signs are associated with action, passion, and energy. In combination with the other elements, Fire feels that Earth will smother it, Water will drown it, but air will fan and enliven it.

Earth signs are associated with sensation, stability and practicality. In combination with the other elements, Earth feels that Air will dry it, Fire will parch it, but Water will refresh and nourish it.

Air signs are associated with thought, perspective and communication. In combination with the other elements, Air feels that Water will obscure it, Earth will suffocate it, but Fire will inspire and uplift it.

Water signs are associated with growth processes, identification and emotion. In combination with the other elements, Water feels that Fire will make it boil, Air will evaporate it, but Earth will shape and channel it.
